Brendan Crowley is a native Chicagoan and a St. Patrick High School alumni. After attending the University of Iowa, he attended Chicago-Kent College of Law endeavoring to represent unions that kept his mother, father, grandparents, and great-grandparents firmly in the middle class. After clerking and interning with two large Chicago area unions in law school, one public one private, Brendan passed the Illinois Bar. He then took a Labor Advocate position for a District Council in Washington State primarily negotiating collective bargaining agreements. He returned home to Chicago to take an Attorney/Senior Union Representative position at a local trades union in Chicago then became a staff attorney position, before entering private practice.

In both the public and private sectors, Brendan has helped clients negotiate over 50 collective bargaining agreements from small 10 person shops to units of 1,900 members. Brendan has helped clients organize the unorganized, form new unions, draft by-laws, constitutions and their amendments, conduct internal disciplinary hearings and appeals, negotiate first contracts, take grievances to arbitration, file, settle and litigate Unfair Labor Practices, negotiate fair and equitable shutdown agreements, and when necessary strike. Brendan has advised unions representing a broad range of workers including janitors, factory workers, doctors, nurses, CNAs, clerical staff, jail guards, truck drivers, skilled tradesmen, undergraduate student workers, longshoremen, grocery store clerks, warehousemen, police officers, food service workers and many more.

In his spare time, Brendan loves to cook, read, eat, and explore the city with his wife Courtney. At least once a year he watches the Lord of the Rings trilogy and loves a good pontoon ride.
