Beverly P. Alfon, Associate

Ms. Alfon began her career at Baum Sigman in 2001. Her practice concentrates on employee benefits, labor, and employment law. Ms. Alfon has garnered litigation experience through regular representation of mutli-employer benefit funds in federal and state court. She has also successfully represented clients in employment-related matters before the EEOC. Ms. Alfon has represented unions and their members before the NLRB, and in federal court. She has also assisted in the successful arbitration and mediation of various labor matters.

In August 2005, Ms. Alfon spoke on the issue of LM-10 and LM-30 reporting changes at a conference sponsored by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. She is a regular contributor to the Firm's client newsletter.

Ms. Alfon is a member of the Federal Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees from Boston University, and her law degree, with a certificate in labor and employment, from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology.
